“Bed Bugs, Shower with one drop of water, VERY NOISY and REALLY Rude Owner”

I needed a 3 night stay, it was an emmergency situation and I had a LOT of bags with me. The guy who works there was nice and helped me carry the bags to the top floor. I went out and came back later to sleep. I tried to have a decent shower but it is one of those showers... More

I was very lucky when I found this hotel as I arrived in Chiang Mai late in the evening. It s got a very good location, in the old city next to the North hotel were you can use the swimming pool, it comes very handy when it gets hot. The hotel its a very good value for your money,... More

Pathara Guest House is located in the old city next to a bunch of other hostels, bars and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay at this place. We booked a room with a view of the mountain, but the thick haze meant we didn't see much of it during our stay. There is wifi available in your room, and laundry... More

“excellent stay at Pathara House”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2010

inexpensive, centrally located in old-Town, climbing shop 10-minute walk if that. Very clean, hot water, super owners, locked gates, stayed a week. Checked 5-6 other nearby guest houses/hotels before selecting Pathara House. Returning 2010 and will be staying here.
