After emailing the hotel directly for a rate, the sales staff refused to directly give me the cheapest rate that was public available online, saying that it was advance purchase only. When I informed the staff I would be happy to pay in advance, they still refused, most likely because they did not understand my email instead of general malice... More

Recently spent two nights here, with mixed opinions on a variety of things. The service level of the hotel is very high, it was always nice interacting with any of the staff members. I enjoyed the breakfast, the fruit basket in the room, cookies, and the "open" minibar. What I thought could use work was the room itself, it looked... More

Dear Kettledrum, Thank you very much for your thoughtful feedback and most kind words about hotel service level being very high and The Eugenia being interesting place to stay! We are really sorry to hear that our suites were not up to your expectations. Though trying to maintain original room paint and being careful about bathroom tiles, we will certainly... More

Very friendly and helpful staff. The pool and garden are an oasis of calmness in this big city. Located in a quiet street with a 10 minute walk to the next Skytrain/metro station. Plenty of good local near the hotel. Just one down size: air conditions in the room are of an older model and relatively loud. Nevertheless to be... More

The Eugenia Hotel is a late 19th Century colonial style hotel full of old world charm and complete with vintage cars for transfers. Our room (206) had a four poster bed with antique furniture and dark wooden floors. Quality linen on the bed was a welcome luxury after a 10 hour flight. Bath times were made fun by the vintage,... I stayed in the Eugenia Hotel together with my boyfriend for a couple of nights. The hotel is well situated in the nice neighbourhoud Sukhumvit and close to the metro and skytrain. The room I stayed is spacy wooden interior and comfortable. The staff are nice and friendly. They are trying to support the guest needs. The hotel is not like a new skyscraper type hotel, but you may feel like good old days colonial style one.

It is of great vintage style with cozy set up. Rooms are special but too noisy because of loud a/c and traffic on street right out of window. location is wonderful. Staff are nice, warming, except the restaurant staff. Compare to price, it is a very good choice!
