This is an old high rise hotel that could be maintained better ( musty smell) but then it would not be a budget hotel. The rooms were clean and quiet. Easy walking distance to street and restaurant food in Chinatown. Close to attractions like Kings Palace. We did not like the fact that there is an additional charge for everything.... More

Pros - Excellent buffet breakfast! Large, clean rooms. Walking distance to China Town and Mega Plaza shopping mall. Freindly, helpful staff! Cons - No "free" wifi! Wifi is available but at a charge of 100 baht/hour. Hotel pool is not free but carries a 50 baht/use charge.

Thank you to my Tour Leader , Franky who had lead us to stay in this Hotel. Hmm I got a little surprised because I never think that I will got such a great Hotel like Grnad Ville Hotel. This hotel is right in the middle of Chinatown, it's a nice hotel. Just what u need to sleep in. It's not spectacular by any means. I was immediately greeted with a mouldy smell when I entered the hotel. The place needed more lighting especially along the corridor leading to the rooms. Furniture in the room badly needs renovations. By the way, there is no free wifi in this hotel.
