Whilst the location wasn't great, the main issue was the air con in the room. For most of the one night stay we had to turn it off as there was a toxic smell (like varnish) coming from the air con unit. Given that a fully functioning air con unit is a minimum requirement then this means a poor rating.... More

I've stayed here on 2 or 3 different occasions, and this place is fine. The room is quite basic, but it is clean and the pool is quite nice. The breakfast wasn't too bad, but lacks western options. Heaps of great Thai food, however. Good for a quick stopover in BKK and it's nice and quiet.

While the rooms were clean and bed was comfortable, the hotel is not in the best geographical diction. There is not much at all around the hotel so a 15min wall or tuktuk ride is needed to go anywhere including restaurants. Bathroom was good but hot water not always available. Wifi was constantly cutting out. The Pool area is nice.... More

Just outside of the central tourist zone, means a bit of walking, either to the ferry pier, or a tuk tuk ride to get anywhere. Rooms are large , but very limited hanging space. A shower curtain would be useful too. Wi fi was no issue. Staff were always helpful and friendly. Overall good value for money.

We stayed in Trang hotel bangkok for 3 nights and it was lovely. The staff were very friendly, and were willing to assist where possible. The rooms were great, very modern, large and spacious. Thr breakfast buffet was delicious, with a wide variety to choose from! The swimming pool is great after a long day out! It is nice and... More

Rooms seemed a little basic and mine had a bit of a smell to it. Nice outdoor area. You can't access wifi in your room. Both times my taxi got lost and I had to call reception so they could give the driver directions although I had the small map on the back of the hotel card to show them.

I was a little concerned because of the low cost of this hotel but my fears were completely unfounded. The hotel staff from the bell captain to the manageress were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean with efficient air conditioning. Breakfast was plentiful and other food well prepared and very reasonably priced. The (covered) pool was... More

Trang hotel is a super spot for staying in Bangkok. Not in the thick of it but close enough for easy access on foot. It's really clean & the rooms (we stayed in block 2) are so modern. There's a great selection of food & it's really good food too. The chill out area by the pool is great for... More

We spent our first days in Bangkok in this hotel and it was very nice. The staff was very helpful, the room very big and clean, and a beautiful pool. The breakfast was included in our plan, it was very nice as well. It is a bit far from the main attractions, but its nice to relax and to escape... More

Hotel has super helpful staff who make a solid effort to answer all your questions, get taxis and the whole works. The rooms were good for their value but the sheets were sometimes stained and the walls need a good clean, however house keeping was great and did a good job. The hotel itself is really clean with a great... More
