We have stayed in several places around the khao San area and we really enjoyed pen park. The rooms are clean and big. Nice windows and a fan room works just fine. Share bathrooms are nice and clean as well. Large outside space with shaded tables and grassy area. Also set back a bit from the main roads so a... More

We liked the location (close to Khao San road, but fare enough for a good night of sleep). The rooms are very spacious and clean and the air con works! The communal bathrooms could have been more clean and definately need a renovation. Breakfst costs extra.

Was staying at this hotel alone for a few days during the Songkran festival of 2013. A total of almost 30 different traveler from all around the world met up here for the 2nd time in a row for the Songkran festival. The greatest point about this hotel is the location, it is very near the heart of the party... More

Me and my partner stayed here in a twin room (asked for double) with shared bathroom facilities at the end of January. Not bad price but can't stay we will be rushing back. Rooms were very basic, ours absolutely stinks of smoke (206 I think). Beds and bedding very old. Whole place had a prison like feel to it. On... More

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The first 2 nights I could not sleep because of the noise in the corridors. The staff did not bother saying something to the drunk guys. Positive things: very large rooms, which is pleasant. Very clean and the bathroom too. A large open area to chill out and eat. It is very... More

We stayed 4 nights in a double room with fan. The room was surprisingly big. It was clean and suited our needs. It was pretty hard to find a shower with hot water (there seemed to be one to a floor). Didn't have much interaction with the staff but they seemed nice enough. Nothing special but it was fine as... More

It is located away from Khao San Road so less noisy. It was around a 10-15 minute walk away. The room was bigger than I expected and the air conditioning worked a treat. It was clean enough, but not as clean as it could have been. The toilets and showers were separate to the room. They could have been cleaned... More

Can't fault the hostel. Perfectly clean, unexpected view from a Bangkok stay, plasma TV. First place we stayed in Thailand so was nice to have a bit of comfort. It only cost £7 a night per person however we soon learnt that for Thailand this was expensive and was quite luxurious as we were backpackers on a budget. Not far... More

An excellent place to go and get away from the rush in Khao san road. You will enjoy it, service is great. The rooms are a bit old but still clean. Thanks to the helpful staff. There is also a laundry service within the hotel, take advantage of it, it is cheap
