We stayed three nights at the Heritage Baan. Its a charming hip/ vintage boutique hotel with a great staff offering friendly service that supports Thailand's reputation for friendliness. The hotel is near a variety of nice restaurants and the skytrain making it easy access to get around Bangkok.

The hotel is decent and what you could expect for a cheap room. We reserved a kingsize bed and found when we got there, two double beds pushed together. The staff was friendly but not particularly helpful. With that said, the room was simple, clean enough and ok for just a couple nights in Bangkok.
