whirlpool / steam shower nice. "modern" light/aircon control system is no good (instructions only in chinese, resets temperature when you go out of room). beware of rooms facing the motorway, they are noisy. good breakfast. mtr stop 10 minutes by foot.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary. The staff knew and they had 2 hearts in Rose petals on the bed along with a complementary Bottle of Red. The rooms are spotlessly clean,modern and tastefully designed. Very new. Staff spoke English well. Outstanding service. Shuttle pick up free from the MRT. Quiet location with good restaurants around the area.

This hotel is clean, new and very comfortable. The rooms are smallish but well designed with very comfortable beds and excellent bathroom showers. Stayed here 5 nights while visiting my daughter. Near Tienmu Circle and a short walk to a bus stop. The staff was very helpful and managed to supply me with "ice" every day. Would stay here again if back in Taipei.

Although the staff are very nice and helpful but the hotel is far away from everything . Recommended if you have a car .

Don't be misled by the title as it isn't as bad as it seems. We picked this as it is a newly established boutique hotel. It's about 10min taxi from Shilin night market up, and about 2km from the closest station. Not a good experience. Expect to pay 1200NT to cab it to this place (although their brochure states 'near airport') The rooms are odd- smelling, and I awoke covered in small insect bites. Flipping back the covers revealed pinpoint sized creatures. Then another 1200NT cab ride back.

This was a great hotel and centrally located. Taipei has such a relaxed atmosphere and this hotel only added to that tone. Great location and a nice hotel with a helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent.
