I am going to give Mt. Kailash resort 5 stars because I really enjoyed my 2 days stay over there. The hotel staff were very friendly and extremely helpful from the start when they sent a 2-pin plug to my room after I mentioned that I had forgotten to pack mine. The rooms were huge and very comfortable with hot... More

After an exhausting but exhilarating trek to Annapurna Base Camp we came back to the comfort of Hotel Kailash in Pokhara. And comfort it was indeed. With lovely large bedroom and bathrooms and yummy food. A great way to rest those tired muscles was a visit to their spa - absolutely a must!! And the location - right on the... More

This place should be definitely higher in tripadvisor rating. The location is perfect, just on the main lakeside, however there is not noise at all once inside because rooms are well inside the gardens. Rooms are big and comfy, there is restaurant, bar and the are making a swimming pool too. Price is big value for your money. Service only... More

We have stayed in this location twice; before and after our trekking tour started. The place is full of trekking groups that spend a few night before and/ or after their trekking - same as we did. The rooms are basic and nice. Nothing special to mention here. Warm shower is available which most people will find helpful after a... More

This new hotel was our choice in Pokhara, due to its pleasant grounds and top location, as it is right on the Lakeside road. It is modern and spacious, with big rooms and comfy matresses. They serve buffet breakfast, and a wide range of food, though we did not try much: there is so much to choose from in the... More

We added Pokhara to our itinerary on our 2nd to last day in Nepal. Our travel agent, Mr. Baral at Plan Holidays in Kathmandu, arranged the hotel for us, and we were not disappointed. The room was very large with wooden floor, huge king bed, sofa and coffee table, desk, and western style bathroom. There was a large flatscreen tv... More

This is certainly not a 4 star property. The interior of the rooms is antiquated. I ordered a suite, the size is adequate, but the stuff is so old. There is a strong scent, maybe the musquito repellent. Hotel looks nice from outside, but inside it is mostly old furniture. The room is not cleaned to a 4 start standard.... More

Hotel is new and maintenance is good. However, comparative food quality is not as much good as their room. They serve low quality local bakeries. Food poisoning happened to me from the breakfast that they served.

Stayed At Mount Kailash which was recommended by our travel agent, Travel and Trek in Pohkara. Friendly, clean hotel. Mr Dharma Raj of Travel and Trek arranged our full 9 day itenerary for our stay in Pokhara and Chitwan. Woudl highly recommend his company for any trips in the Pokhara area.

We stayed in the hotel during Feb 2012 . It is a new property. excellent rooms & services . Fantastic location. variety of Nepalese food with excellent preparation and taste. We enjoyed our stay and hope to stay in the same hotel next time we visit Pokhara.
