Small rooms- with chipped wooden floor Inefficient staffs And a major security risk if you are with Family. On 19/5 night- there was 6-7 drunk person was shouting in front of my room in corridor- banging on my door. I had informed the reception- they told " security camera can help only after 4 hours to check back what happened".... More

I stayed in this hotel in April, it was well situated in such a chaotic city, relatively near the main attractions, although the streets are under construction, dirty, so any adventure by foot will be very hard. The facilities are great, the food is excellent, the breakfast is plenty and varied, considering Nepal is a very poor country. Staff was... More

My partner and I travelled through China, India & Nepal for about a month. When we finally arrived at the Radisson in Kathmandu, we were tired and hungry for some TLC. Did we get it! Customer service is superb. The property is well kept. Rooms are comfortable (pillows not so nice) and clean. There was warm water for showers at... More

This hotel is a little bit away from the Thamel district, which I guess is a positive and a negative. It's set back from the main roads so not too noisy given the surrounding chaos of Kathmandu traffic. Rooms were comfortable although hard mattress (not uncommon in Asian accommodation) and free wifi is a bonus (reasonably reliable). Rooftop pool and... More

i stayed here a few more nights than expected following a missed fight connection and was pleasantly surprised by the hotel, given some TA reports. Positives included free wifi, reliable hot water, airconditioning and safe to eat vegetarian food (of course I avoided the salads). there is a World Expeditions desk at the hotel and our tour left from here.... Me and my family had big plans when we went to Katmandu. We went to Tibet and when we left our gross tour, we were grimy and sweaty. We took a "tourist only" bus to Katmandu only to find that the whole country had been closed down due to Maoist protests. We had, until that point, been planning on going... More

A mix bag, Tourist and Business hotel. The rooms we stayed were on the first floor facing the entrance, bit noisy. Little rundown beds and bathroom needs to be redone. Dont expect any views, nice cooperative staff. The Bar is a place to be in, its outside the main hotel but a good one. The breakfast has a good spread,... More

Nepal is progressed a lot in recent times. The hotel was comfortable. The stay was also good. The power supply is a concern sometimes, but no more than here in India. Overall it was a great experience. Wish we stayed a couple of days' more. That may happen in the near future. Food was truly good!

Used this hotel as part of 'World Expeditions' trek, who use this as their base hotel. They have a dedicated desk in reception. I stayed here 2 nights before my trek and 3 nights after. I was in a twin single bedded room the whole time ( my last 2 nights single occupancy as paid for). The rooms are well... More

Stayed here to two nights upon arrival from the UK. This is a bog standard western type hotel, you would have no idea in which country you were staying once you were inside, it could have been anywhere. So, lacking any Nepalese character I would say. That said, there was nothing wrong with it. Good breakfast buffet and it has... More
