I was in kathmandu for 2 nights. The hotel was booked online, they sent a vehicle to pick me from airport. We were 3 persons and had taken two rooms. It is well located , food and service is average. Nothing to applaud or whine about but the rates are way beyond VFM. For similar tarrif one can stay at yak... More

We stayed 4 nights in a room on the top (of 3) story of the Annapurna. We changed rooms after the first night as in the initial room 2024, the air-conditioning was deficient making the room far too cold. Better than too hot but still... Also it was somewhat grubby and the view was mainly of a wall of the... More

Hotel Annapurna is perfectly located on Durbar Marg, Kathmandu's "upscale" shopping street, as upscale as one can get in Nepal. It is quiet yet within walking distance of shops, restaurants and about a 10 minute walk from the Thamel tourist area. The hotel is very tranquil and safe. Ask for an odd number room if you can, that way you... More

The best part of this hotel is its location. A large spacious hotel in an otherwise busy congested locality. It is very close to Durbar museum and American club. The building has started ageing but is still maintained very well. Rooms are well furnished, however there is some issue with the water supplied in bathrooms. The complimentary breakfast is another... More

This is not a new hotel but it is conveniently situated and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and added greatly to our stay by their willingness to assist with every query with good humour and a polite manner. Roshan Rimal on reception typifies this approach and on the day of our departure when having an early breakfast in... More

We liked the place very much. The rooms need a refurbishment, but the personnel is excellent, a very good breakfast, clean, very conveniently located which allowed us to walk at night through the city, as it is in a very safe place.

I stayed here for a one-week meeting in Kathmandu. It was convenient to have all the meeting participants stay in the same hotel as our meetings. The rooms were basic, but clean and adequate. My first room was noisy, near the banquet facility where they began setting up at 4am; but they were happy to move me to a quieter... More

Not a pleasant stay in this hotel rated as a 4* under Nepalese standards. The bathroom looked shabby, the room smelled of mould and was very basic with old furniture. Very noisy as no double glazing (speaking of this room on a ground floor, maybe upstairs rooms were different). The staff was polite but cold and unfriendly. I deeply disliked... More
