I stayed 3 nights in Great Wall in April. Very friendly and helpfull staff. They feel what you need. Very nice location. In the centre of Thamel but just in a very quit street so no traffic or other noise. I had a room on the third floor at the back, big room, with 24 hours Wifi and hot water.

Quiet, clean place in the centre of Thamel, no street noises and nice roof-top restaurant, had a great time in Nepal !! taxi-service possible and also trekking info, guides, rafting, ....Hope to come bach as soon as possible, Kathamandu is a wonderfull, beautiful city
