Unlike the other three hotels we stayed at in Bhutan, this hotel was new and rather modern. It was clean and comfortable with modern amenities, but it was missing that certain charm we enjoyed at the older hotels in Bhutan. We received a free upgrade to a large suite with a balcony overlooking the valley.

Large comfortable rooms in a well-maintained hotel meant we had a good night's sleep. A little out of the centre but it really does not matter in Bhutan as you always have your guide and driver available. Lunch was fine though breakfast could have been better. Helpful, friendly staff.
