The Novotel is centrally located in the city of Dakar yet right on the ocean. It is convenient for business and currently probably the nicest hotel if you want to be in the center of Dakar. It's sister hotel IBIS is located next store and if you want a better bang for the buck stay there.

I arrived late at night and check in was extremely slow. The room was very basic with a refrigerator and bottled water. Bed was ok but hard, and bathroom was small (toilet in separate closet). This is not a luxury hotel but the staff are excellent; they checked me in very early (7am) and were more than helpful with locating taxis and communicating with drivers. The only downside was the food: breakfast was ok but sandwiches on the outside patio were terrible.

the Room are very clean,Breakfast is very delicious the place is very near to the down-town , unfortunately i didn't found a sea view room ,beautiful swimming pool in a well kept garden, in a central location, Wifi is very bad, i recommend it but with Ocean view room
