Several colleagues recommended the Amanzi Lodges and it is gorgeous. I'd probably only stay again if I came with plenty of food, access to a vehicle to retrieve food, or if embarking on a fast. Though the young woman who checked me in was lovely, there don't seem to be any staff currently working.

What a lovely lodge-- very beautiful rooms. Stayed in Nigeria, but the shower head didn't work properly. Heat is a must at night! We were there for business so had quite a few needs and Natasha and Sarah seemed flustered by our requests. I might recommend if you are staying with any business to do, you might stay elsewhere. Got... More

Thank you for your review and we are glad you appreciated the rooms at Amanzi Lodge. Unfortunate about the shower head, but I assure you it was replaced as soon as it came to our attention. All our rooms do have electric blankets and a climate control air conditioning units or radiators. We have recently serviced all our units so... More

This was my second time staying here on a business trip. As the title says, I love this place! It is an oasis of calm in Harare. The staff are all very friendly, rooms super comfortable, grounds beautiful, and food good. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting for Harare on business or for vacation. A colleague suggested I try Amanzi Lodge for my first visit to Harare - am I ever glad that I did. Myself and another colleague stayed for 3 nights (mid March 2013): I stayed in the Congo suite - and she stayed in the Nigeria suite. Both were very nice. I particularly loved mine as it was close to the... More

The title of my post says it all. I had a wonderful time at Amanzi Lodge. Staff were really friendly and helpful, setting was beautiful, and it made me feel that I was at home rather than on work travel. Highly recommend this place!

Spent two night at Amanzi in business and found it perfect for a good mix of great service, clean accommodation, great food and close for doing business in Harare. Overall, the grounds and atmosphere make working a little easier. Thanks to the staff, it finished off a perfect stay.

Stayed 1 night in room `Nigeria` having arrived in Harare after a long haul flight: Lovely room with TV, air con and huge bathroom with shower and bathtub. The rooms are spread within a neatly manicured garden with swimming pool and gym, partly with a little balcony or veranda. Dinner is available at the lodge itself with a choice of... More

It is always lovely to read a headline like "super". We are particularly pleased you enjoyed one of our new Suites, Egypt. For the last year we have worked on up-grading the rooms and the facilities at Amanzi Lodge and now we are working on inspiring the chefs and upgrading the food. I stayed there on a business trip, in the Seychelles room. The room was beautiful, the service and food 5 stars. I also booked my transfers and taxis to meetings with them. I've been in Harare a few times before and this is the BEST place to stay. They offer free working internet (which is a rare find in Africa).... More

I chose this hotel/lodge based on the Tripadvisor reviews and I am glad I did. It is like an oasis in Harare. I could have spent the whole day on the property relaxing and wish I had time to do so. Really glad to hear you enjoyed one of our new Suites. All 4 new Suites are so different and everyone seems to prefer a different one. The bottom Suites are very exotic with the enormous beds set in the middle of the room and the outdoor showers, but the top Suites have the charm of the outside verandahs, that are... More
