Great location on top of the kopjes and in the very center of Seronera. Nicely built swimming pool with a view. The reception is somewhat cool and the rooms are very (very) noisy and rather small. Friendly kitchen staff and a very tasty but spicy buffet. This is a big lodge (150 guests in high season) and you feel like... More

We stayed at this lodge for 2 nights. Out of the 4 lodges we stayed at, this was our least favorite. The room was small but adequate. A previous poster stated all beds were either king or twin. This is not correct; the bed in our room was queen. Windows were screened. Mosquito nets or fans were not provided. The... More

the seronera wildlife lodge is a beautiful refuge right by the seronera river in the serengeti. The hotel is newly renovated as the rooms are still shining in polyurethane. Lodging here was included as part of it safari that came as a very pleasant surprise for how nice it is. This is a place worthy of 4star rankings with beautifully... More

Great location for Central Serengeti as is the architecture and the rock formations it is built around. Rooms were small but adequate and clean and while power and water are switched off at certain hours this didn't cause any inconvenience. The food was not bad and while there is a gym and internet cafe all set up it wasn't open.

This is a mid-priced lodge in a great location in central Serengeti. You are paying for location and not amenities or service. All rooms have 1 king or 2 twin beds, no triples. They have a patio door, but no patio. Some rooms are interconnecting, but families will need 2 rooms. The lodge is built into the rock, but there... More

This was our 4th hotel on our 13 day Safari. It Is builtt around giant boulders and the architecture is unbelievable. BUT the maintenance is woeful, the bottom sheet on our bed had a large central patch and the pillowcase had a hole, the towels were scruffy. The dining room is all polished wood , beautiful, but the cream leather... More

We stayed at this lodge for 1 nite while on safari in the serengeti. The rooms are small & beds firm. Bathroom is clean & adequate. There is no ac, but it isn't really necessary. You can open your windows, they are screened. The electricity is shut off at different hours of the day, esp. at nite. Hot water is... More

We stayed here for 2 nights during our safari. The location is very beautiful in the middle of Serengeti and thus you can quickly go on a safari at any time. The deck is really lovely overlooking the plain, but very strange there are no seatings so you can only stand on the deck. Our room was rather old, but... More

We stayed three nights at this lodge, in main part due to the location, which is indeed perfect and no other lodge is as well-located. This lodge has so much potential, it is a shame that it is run so poorly. We really didn't mind the squeaky floors (we were thankfully on the 2nd floor, however...I think it would have... More

I spent 4 fairly miserable days in this lodge. In the first room, no water for the shower...you could turn the faucet handle forever and not one drop would come out. Telephone didn't work, electrical outlets didn't work...moved to another room, telephone not working...third room, seemed okay but no hot water until 6:00PM (every day). Consequently, when returning from a... More
