Francis and Michelle (the live in owners) together with Amina and Amina, both the manager and cook, all run a fine establishment here. The Riad is in the centre of the Medina and close to all the action. We stayed in the Yellow suite for 4 nights. It was a large, clean and nice room. The Riad itself is beautiful,... More

We stayed here in the White Suite for two nights on our tour of Morocco. As others have said the riad is well renovated, spotlessly clean and comfortable and the meals, cooked by 'little' Amina are delicious. Her Aunt, 'big' Amina, (no reference to her size) welcomed us and answered all our questions about Meknes. As we parked in Place... More

An easy 5 minute walk from the parking lot at Place Lalla Aouda, the el Ma is a beautifully maintained Riad. The central courtyard is bright even in rainy weather and features a splendid display of Moroccan tile and plaster carving. The rooms are decorated with an elegant simplicity. The suite Blanche has white walls, dark wood furniture and a... More

Every time I read the TripAdvisor reviews of Riad El Ma, my mouth watered and I wanted to eat there - right now! And what can I say? We did, and it was just as advertised. If you enjoy a hotel "of the country", this property is charming and amazing. The welcome was warm. Breakfast was lavish and varied. And... More

We stayed at Riad El Ma for two nights. The riad was challenging to find, and having a VERY good map or exact directions from Bab Mansour would be very useful. The room was very nice (stayed in the white suite) although the shower/bathroom could be a bit update and less sparse. The riad itself is very beautiful and the... More

Amina will meet you at the city gate and lead you to the Riad. Once there you will be treated like family. We stayed in the Red room for 3 nights. Amina and Amina couldn't be more charming and helpful. They are also both excellent cooks. The cookies at check in, breakfast and dinner are all very good. The young... More

We had a perfect time for one night in the White suit. Both Amina(s) are wonderful tenders and cookers. Try the home-made "cornes de gazelles" for breakfast ! We're looking forward to using the pool next summer. Thanks again PM&Caroline

We stayed two nights at one of the suite rooms at courtyard level. Nice decoration, size of room and bathroom was fine. Everything was clean. Some smell of - we think - cats in the room, but okay. The riad itself is very nice renovated and decorated. The courtyard is beautiful. Two big terraces on the roof, compared to other... More

Stayed there for just 1 night with a friend and I regret that it could be more nights! The riad is an authentic Moroccan house, reformed recently and with a very beautiful architecture and decoration. The room we get was quite bit small and simple, but It was ok for us. There as a blanket of wool sheep that was... More

Stayed two nights at the Riad El Ma in Meknes during a one week vacation in Morocco. The riad is charming, beautifully decorated and well-maintained. We had the ground-floor yellow suite, which is spacious and comfortable, and private even though its windows open onto the central courtyard. Our hosts were delightfully welcoming, Amina was very willing to give suggestions on... More
