We stayed at Moonracer for 3 nights at the beginning of our trip to Belize. The property is beautiful and quiet. The lack of electricity is not an issue. There are very strong flashlights for the guests to use. Marge and Tom were very helpful - they answered my questions via email prior to our arrival and suggested restaurants at... More

Marge and Tom were so helpful! They corresponded with us on a variety of topics before we arrived. They are a wealth of knowledge about what activities to do in the area. They are from the US and speak English which made it very easy to converse with them. My sister and I are still talking about how AMAZING the... More

We had a wonderful time touring the Pine Ridge and staying with Marge and Tom. It was easily the best part of our trip to Belize. It makes such a difference to feel so welcomed to a unfamiliar place and have 2 very personable and genuine people interested in making sure your stay is the best. Big Rock falls, Caracol,... More

Initially, the draw of staying at Moonracer was the jungle setting, no electricity and homey atmosphere. While all of this added to our wonderful experience, Marge and Tom’s knowledge of the Cayo and the lodge’s coziness became the centerpieces of our stay. They gave us several recommendations and advice that ended up being the true highlights of our trip, including... More

We stayed with Marge and Tom for four nights, and really enjoyed it. As everyone says the food is excellent, and they are eager to help you plan your trip. We had most of our activities planned when we got there, but we had most of one day free and their suggestions helped us have the most enjoyable and memorable... More

We had such a great time with Tom and Marge. They helped us plan our whole trip and everything was so smooth and organized. The food was great and there was lots of it and the fresh squeezed orange juice and grapefruit every morning was so good. We spent three nights and every day we had an activity with transportation... We stayed at Moonracer farm for 3 nights on our honeymoon to Belize and it was one of the highlights of our trip! Marge and Tom were great hosts and Marge is a fantastic cook- all the meals are served 'family style' and were all delicious. She also did a great job of catering for my special dietary requirements (lactose/wheat... More

Marge and Tom were exceedingly helpful from our first contact with them throughout the completion of our stay. The rooms were rustic but very clean and spacious. The food was delightful. The freshness of all the ingredients combined with Marge's culinary abilites made it some of the best food we had while in Belize. The grounds are well maintained and... More

When planning our trip to Belize we contacted Moonracer Farm to see if they had availability for the first three nights of our trip. They were booked but asked if we had flexibility and could come at the end of our trip instead. That is what we ended up doing and we are very glad that we did! While we... More

My teenage daughter and I spent 3 nights at Moonracer Farm in March 2013. Tom and Marge were great hosts. I particularly liked their help even prior to arrival, as they helped us arrange transportation to our various destinations, and gave advice on logistics and opportunities for fun things to do. They also provided great meals and lodging, with hot... More
