Stayed here for several nights on a last minute trip to Belize with friends. Caye Caulker is very small so almost anywhere you stay will be a few minutes away from the main drag of town. This property is a little further than many other places and a walk or bike home late at night can feel a little isolated.... More

We stayed at the Lazy Iguana for two nights, enjoying the laid back quality of Caye Caulker. The room was beautiful, great shower with fluffy towels, A/C, and a small sitting room outside of our room. We looked in several different rooms and they all seem gorgeous. Irene, the owner, and Fanny, the manager, were amazingly helpful and very easy... More

My husband and I just got back from Caye Caulker and stayed at the Lazy Iguana for 5 nights.... It was so relaxing and away from the hectic downtown streets during Easter weekend, which we were told is the most crowded weekend on the island all year! Irene and Mo gave us great dinner advise and Mo also told us... More

I just returned from another trip to Caye Caulker and the Lazy Iguana remains my first choice for a true B&B! Mo and Irene are gracious hosts and have always made me feel like I was part of their Belizean experience. Their manager, Fanny, is a doll .. and I have met many interesting people at their breakfast table, including... More

My friend and I were recommended to the Lazy Iguana from the inland hotel we were staying at prior. Upon our arrival, we were struck by the mere beauty of the establishment - its a very elegant building. (we were also struck by the adorable/friendly cats who sit on stairs outside. As cat people, they made us feel at home,... More

My fiance and I spent four nights at the Lazy Iguana B&B after an adventure filled time in the interior, what a treat. We really enjoyed the clean rooms, hot showers, and super relaxing hammocks on the roof (covered by a thatched roof with a view of the ocean). We'd definitely recommend this place to family and friends. It is... More

Our flight was canceled and had to arrive on Caye Calker on another date than our reservation. When we arrived the hosts charged us $30 extra per night. We stayed 2 nights and they day we checked out the host said that the prices went down that day! Breakfast was okay. Very unfriendly hosts. We had to stand on a... More

We left here wondering why the owner is in the hospitality business, as she just doesn't seem well suited for it. She was unfriendly at best, made it clear that she preferred that we not use the AC in our room and that we shouldn't ask for eggs at breakfast, and was difficult to engage in conversation, particularly at breakfast.... I am sorry your stay at our B&B was less than you expected. We at the Lazy Iguana B&B get the most satisfaction out of engaging in conversations with our guests over breakfast, and helping them to have a wonderful vacation here in Caye Caulker. I am pleased that you were able to enjoy our rooftop Palapa deck where all... More

We loved the Lazy Iguana. It was off the main Caye Caulker strip, which made it perfectly relaxing. You can easily access all Caye Caulker spots by walking or using one of the cruiser bikes. The host gave us a bike lock for the day so we could bike around at our leisure. The rooms were very clean and breakfast... More

Only had the opportunity to stay one night at the Iguana, and really wish we could have remained a few more nights. The rooms and establishment were spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable, and Moe and Irene were very hospitable. The rooftop hammocks allowed you to melt away after a day's worth of adventure, all the while providing a perfect... More
