We stayed here a couple of nights. It was good. Large room with living room and kitchen. Ocean views, close to town. BBQ grills, quite a few public areas, movie rentals...a lot of activities close by..recommended.

I love Avila beach...I liked it better before they bulldozed the old charming Avila and built the shiny new one. this hotel is nice, getting a little old, but kept up fairly well. beware of time share sales folk.

My wife and I have stayed there twice. This is a lovely location with many things to do. However, they are part of Diamond International Resorts. We stayed early March, the Resort was nice, room (2 bedroom) was small and we were glad to have the extra bedroom (our kids could not make the trip, so it was just the 2 of us) to store all of the stuff we bought. The view was great, both from the living room as well as the master bedroom.... More

To say that this timeshare/hotel has a great location is still somewhat of an understatement.
