This home is absolutely stunning! We booked the The Elk Horn Bank Founders Room for our one night stopover in Arkadelphia. We were stunned by the interior of this house. Everything was incredibly kept and just beautiful. Our room was in this rotunda like corner of the house that made the room look huge! We were greeted by Jennifer and... More

My family stayed in the Regions Bank Room at the Captain Henderson House for 2 nights and it was an excellent experience. The Regions Bank Room is a one bedroom suite with a fold out couch in the parlor area, so it was an excellent choice for my husband and two teenage daughters. All the rooms are beautifully decorated. The... More

This Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful building. I would have liked more information on the restoration process that they went through and the Jacuzzi in our room didn't work and the bed we slept in was extremely small but that is my husband's fault. The building itself is beautifully kept, quiet and very reasonably priced. The manager was pleasant... More

I love Captain Henderson House! I would stay there at least once a month. The house is amazing, the house manager Vickie Jones will bend over backwards to make sure you have everything you would need and want. I feel like I have stepped back in time or into a novel. This place inspires me to no end. The food... More

This old historic home has been painstakingly renovated and is exquisite. The rooms are comfortable and the innkeeper is very attentive to the guests. The bed and breakfast is owned by Henderson State University, which is directly across the street. It's a sleepy little community with two universities and lots of natural beauty. A nice place to stop if you're... More

I stay here once every summer when I do some workshops at Henderson State University. The Captain Henderson House B&B is across the street from Henderson State University. Vicki runs an impeccable B&B, offering great breakfasts and excellent hospitality. You have your choice of large rooms on the 2nd floor, and I have to admit that I do enjoy the... More

This bed and breakfast is set in a beautifully restored home at the front gates of Henderson State u in Arkansas. The attention to detail, coupled with the amenities and excellent food make it a clear choice over any hotel/motel in the area. Vicki, the Innkeeper, is a wonderful hostess. The cookies, breakfast, linens, all add up to a wonderful... More

I stayed here for two nights recently. The house is simply AMAZING! If you like historic homes and architectural details, this is the perfect place for you. My room was huge--it had a bed area, a sitting area with a sofa and desk, and a huge bathroom with a jacuzzi tub (that worked). The room was very comfortable. The breakfasts... More

I've stayed here a few times, and always had a great experience. The staff is excellent, and the rooms and inn are beautiful. I still remember how soft the sheets are! The breakfast is also fantastic. It is by far the best place to stay in the area. I actually had my wedding reception here as well, and my entire... More
