While I share the comments in other reviews of this hotel as regards to atmosphere or location, I stayed in room 1114 to the back of the building and had noise from large air condition units outside the building all night. At almost USD 300 per night the noise issue should really be addressed.

The Hotel Lombardy is a charming vintage hotel in an excellent location. It is a short walk to the Metro and the Mall is well within walking distance. We ate out 3 nights and each night found an excellent restaurant less than a block away.
