When you dial reception, no one answers. No juice and only instant coffee with their continental breakfast- really? We had to wash our feet thoroughly after walking on the tiled floor of our unit- showers in dire need of a proper clean too. Would not recommend this place to our worst enemy! $10 for jacuzzi and $3 per towel so... More

Stayed here on a girls weekend away - we had a 2 bedroom apartment which was ok - whole resort needs an update, which I think they were doing - the bar and restaurant area was closed for 1night but opened for breakfast on our last day. The continental breakfast included was average. The property was on a hill which... More

Continental breakfast was bread wrapped in glad wrap with a pod of jam and two yoghurts. Room was ok at first viewing, but... More

Like the curates egg this resort is good in parts. We arrived on the public bus, No2 from the ferry and were put off ay the gate. There is a slight incline initially and then on turning the corner to follow the Reception signs the road rises steeply, very steeply, into the clouds. It is a pretty exhausting climb with... More

Stayed here for 1 night. I had rung the day before and asked for an early check in time as we had a wedding on the island that day. When we arrived no one was at reception, we waited for around 10-20 mins until we spotted someone and whistled loudly for their attention. Not a good first impression! The staff... More

Stayed here for a weekend away..... The resort is being refurbished currently which wasn't disruptive but be aware there are some alterations going on. To break it down The Room We stayed in a 1 bed villa which was nice. A little worn around the edges in places but generally good. The bed wasn't too comfy. Great deck with a... More

We stayed for 1 night in a 2 bedroom apartment with fantastic views and a large balcony. Reception is up a very steep hill and had been moved as it was being refurbished as was the restuarant and bar, glad we had a couple of bottles of wine as it is a bus journey to the bottle shop. Reception staff... More

The rooms are nearly as promised. Clean and comfortable but Internet didn't work after a day, tv didn't work at all, restaurant closed. Staff are most unhelpful. Even though lots of empty cabins, i was put in one of only two with view of the road, not the bay. No mention of Internet when I checked is so had to... More

Stayed here for one romantic night whilst staying with the in laws in Auckland. Booked the day before valentines day and no double rooms left so we stayed in a two bedroom villa for no extra cost. Fantastic location overlooking sea. Website does not do the villas and views justice at all. Rooms were very luxuriously decirated ( we had... More

There are no other resorts on Waiheke Island and we purposely booked there over the Christmas holiday for a family reunion as we found that many restaurants in NZ are not open on the 25th and 26. The rooms were clean and efficient but the service was not what we expected. Their website advertises a restaurant which we presumed would... More
