We enjoyed the rooms and the breakfast. I also have to say that staff was fantastic and very helpful. One more thing. If you wish to learn Latvian traditional grill taste I highly recommend to visit Alibi restaurant. There’s the most delicious grill I ever tasted. Thanks to Raivis. More

Excellent little jem of a place located right in the heart of the old town, opposite St Peter's. Thankfully this is not a square with nightclubs, which means you can actually sleep at night! Ekes Konvents is a charming little hotel with old world charm, befitting for surrouding architechture. There are little nuances nooks and crannies with being in an... More

Stayed for one night early June. The hotel itself is in an old tastefully refurbished building that has a fair bit of old style character about it. It is not big hotel with only a few rooms on each floor. There are no lifts instead a number of flights of steep steps (3 flights from memory), so be aware if... More

My husband and I stayed at Ekes Konvents for 2 nights and found it to be a gorgeous little boutique hotel located in the heart of the Old Town. The hotel has beautiful character and charm which we loved. We went for the large room which was plenty big enough. Comfy beds and pillows, spotlessly clean room at a great... More

We wanted to stay in Ekes Konvents because it was an old building with lot of history behind. Of course it's very conveniently located in the heart of the old town but the "historic building" was what attracted us. And it was very good. Staff was always friendly, the room was pretty nice. No noise, no small places -- at... More

Yes, it is pretty from the outside and very cute from the inside. Yes, the location could hardly be better. Yes, you may get a good deal. All of which is fine. There are a few "but"'s, though: the "Small" room is very small - small as in "molecule". "Small" as in "you can't even begin to imagine how small... More

Enjoyed our 3 nite stay at Hotel Ekes Konvents. The location was perfect for exploring Old Town. The staff was great. Rooms were quiet, comfortable, clean and charming. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. It is included in the price but you have to go outside and around the corner to the more expensive hotel next door that has a restaurant.... More

It was our first time in Riga with my G/f and we could not choose better place to stay than this. The hotel has a friendly staff. Hotel is in an old charming building from 1435, has 11 rooms only, therefore it is very quiet. Very clean, we stayed 2 nights there. It does not have the breakfast facilities, but... More

Stayed here for 2 days in late August 2008. Had a fantastic time and the hotel is/was cute and unique (in a good way). It's not a big place but is placed in an old (renovated and updated) building - if i remember correctly, there are only 11 rooms in the building. It's in a great location in old town.... More
