Although it was a bit tricky getting there and surroundings aren't the best one, the hotel itself was really nice. Fast check-in, really big room and bathroom. Dinner was great and food was perfect, although appetiser could have come sooner. If I'd need a place to stay in Riga, I would think about staying in Karavella again.

The hotel has a good restaurant and comfortable rooms, as well as friendly staff and reasonable prices. The location is a bit out of the center, but a quick tram ride is all you need to reach the main part of town. They also took helpfully accpept payment in euros as well as lats.
