This hotel has 3 stars but it is hard to see why. Although the staff are friendly and the bathrooms clean, you are unlikely to have a pleasant, restful stay here. There is no air conditioning in the rooms (an essential during the hot summer months) and ventilation is poor. The rooms are dark and smell of damp. Bed sheets... More

“Quiet Location 1/2 block from river on the edge of old town”

The Hotel is open but under renovation. Luckily the workers work during the day and so the hotel is quiet in the evening and at night. “Loved the Kentaur”

I loved the Kentaur...it was small but cosy. The showers were tremendous...great water pressure! The breakfasts were plentiful and the location was nice, in a small court near the center of town. Szentendre is a wonderful town full of art galleries, restaurants, and an 'authentic'old village replication.
