The gold and glitter was somewhat too much, but seemed to be a great hit to the Americans who was the main part of the guests during our stay. The "SPA" was a miniature one. One morning without service. To a Scandinavian a lukewarm sauna for three people was special. - Never either been to sauna where the oven won't... More

wow is the word for this place. we were picked up from the train station (650 kc)when we arrived and dropped off to airport (950kc) when we were leaving. these were arranged by the hotel. registration is the best. they let you sit anywhere you like inside the hotel, they offer drinks of your choice, and you just give them... the hotel is situated in a very quiet part of an otherwise pretty busy city. the building is an old palazzo refurbished with old looking but new furniture - this is one of the few things that bothered me a little , authentic old furniture would be better. the staff is very courteous and friendly and at the same time... Fantastic hotel. Everything was absolutely perfect. Food, service, room, amenities, every detail was first class. To stay here too often would spoil the whole experience. Close by, yet far enough away from the Charles Bridge.

We organised their collection service from the airport which was a luxurious Merc with complimentary bottles of water. Driver could have been a little more attentive but this was overshadowed by the beauty of the hotel and the fantastic reception. I had informed them it was my wife's birthday and was met with a bottle of chilled sparkling wine in... More

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Spa was fun, wine tasting every day at 5 nice touch. Great location to see Prague. We walked everywhere! Restaurant was quite nice (and a bit pricey) breakfast was delicious and included. The premises' coffee house had nice sandwiches (and sweets!)on days we missed lunch but wanted a little something at 3 pm.

I very much love this place, it's just perfect - everything about it is perfect only a bit far from town center. I felt like a princess for a day, the room was stunning. I think it is one of the most amazing places in whole Europe.

The Alchymist is a fantastic boutique hotel. The staff is very friendly, the food is good, location couldn't be better. We had a massage at the spa that was great. The only negative is that our room was quite small but everything else made up for that. Definitely a good pick.

This is a real gem of a hotel. Located in a relatively quiet part of town and all the better for that. Fabulous rooms and the most attentive service. The last time I stayed in Prague it was at The Four Seasons which was a great hotel, but the Alchymist is just superb. It has charm, great food and buried... More
