We spent one night here as part of our trip along The Great Ocean Road, taking the downstairs barn apartment. Everything was excellent - comfy bed, good breakfast basket, friendly owner, very quiet and peaceful location. Pity we couldn't stay longer! Also had our first introduction to the magpie robins in the area who serenaded us in the morning with... More

Had a great 1 night stay. We had the ground floor of the converted barn, all nicely decorated. The open plan barn had a double bed, heater, living area with a sofa, flat screen TV and table/chairs. Well equipped kitchen area had oven with electric hob, microwave and fridge, as well as full stock of pots, pans and cutlery. There... More

Adorable, clean, and warm remodeled barn with a fabulous shower! Rita packs a breakfast basket and you cook your own breakfast with delicious ingredients. Would be better with wifi and if you didn't have to wash your own dishes.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this very pretty, uber color co-cordinated cottage type accommodation. The owner Rita is very warm and helpful. Short walk from the beach, and griffith island where we saw wallabies! Rita packs in a breakfast basket, and the kitchen is equipped enough to cook meals. Would love to have wifi, a bigger TV, and heating... More

We stayed at the Coastal Barn last July and we liked the studio very much. It was very clean and really spacious, with a large lounge, a kitchen with all the necessary utensils and a very nice bathroom. Rita was away for the weekend but she left a nice note for us and we were welcomed by her husband. As... More

There are several impression review written on the Royal Mail hotel - which I felt it was slightly overrated. It is well maintained building which tried to retain its rustic charm. However because of the high expectation, I felt it was a bit letdown. The shower due to its design tend to overrun to its adjusting area which make the... More

I'm sorry your expectations were not met. The shower head in the bathroom is what is suggested to be used to be waterwise. I hope that your whole Port Fairy experience made up for any short comings of the Barn. More

Our stay in the loft was superb - a great experience in a beautifully decorated loft space. Rita was a very helpful and welcoming host - even providing us with some olive oil from her own kitchen to cook our kangaroo steaks! The breakfast basket was perfect - lovely bacon! This was the best accommodation, quality and value for money... More

From the moment we pulled up and saw the quaint barn and rita's chickens roaming around the front garden we knew this was going to be a lovely experience. We stayed in the studio downstairs, which was beautifully furnished with everything you needed. The bath was quite large and fit two people comfortably, and the shower was also roomy, with... More

After reading all the reviews and after our stay in the lwr studio, I agree with all the fine comments which were made. The B & B is very spacious, very quiet, very clean and Rita is very attentive to her guests. The ingredients in the breakfast basket were ample for us to make our own breakfast. We walked along...
