We stayed 2 nights and were pleasantly surprised how good it was after reading the negative reviews. Lois and Max are perfect hosts. We stayed in the front bedroom with a fantastic ensuite. “Dirty, smelly and damp”

We stayed at Dumfries park and were really disappointed with the accommodation. Although the owners are really kind they property is of a very, very poor standard. “You don't get what you pay for”

Very expensive for what you get. Rooms have a shared bathroom/toilet (lock on toilet door doesn't work), damp smell and poor air quality in room causing me to have an asthma attack (I haven't had an asthma attack for 5 years !). Breakfast was very nice. Really disappointed with this place as we loved Phillip Island other than this place

We found Dumfries Park Bed and Breakfast, Cowes, Phillip island overpriced and recommend that prospective guests inspect a room at this "bed and breakfast" (run from a suburban house) before agreeing to pay the asking price of $160 per night.
