Comfy beds, good food and fast service, the staff work with a sense of urgency, the room was overpriced for what was on offer, dirty mugs, grubby carpets and the bathroom was unforgivable! Grime and mould shadowed the tiles, the shower curtain was just as bad, I'd highly advise a room inspection to anyone considering staying there,

The Seabreeze restaurant excels at handling large numbers of restaurant guests' orders quickly and efficiently. The staff are friendly and fast moving, and the system of taking food orders separately to drinks orders work well. They don't just stick to the weekly menu but complement that with specials. I chose the Italian night chicken parmigana and received a large portion... More

A great positioned pub with nice views from the balcony rooms. We had a standard balcony room and found it very clean but in need of a little TLC for the price. Clean sheets, tea and coffee facilitys provided and a good cold fridge. The staff are friendly, happy and helpful. A bit noisy while the tipsy patrons leave the... More

We travel a lot for work and the staff of this hotel is by far the BEST we have ever had! Our rooms were cleaned regularly, even without us demanding for it. There were minor issues though: - the smoke/fire alarm went off twice, and one of that was at 4am. Hope they fix that soon. - upon opening the... More

We made sure to call ahead time to ensure they had the 3rd guests name, however this was not passed on & gave rise to confusion when they arrived ahead of us. A 3rd pillow, towel etc had to be requested by us. We did not have a room at the front as we'd expected but overlooking a side street... More

While the hotel (bar and bistro) downstairs was big and filled with drunk people, which we sort of enjoyed, our large room was old and dirty and well overpriced. There was a huge stain on the wall above the double bed that could have have been blood but was probably red champange. The shower was filthy and Im pretty sure... More

We stopped off at South West Rocks while travelling the East Coast and, not finding many other options, asked for a spare room at this hotel which was on a good position by the beach. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful and explained which rooms were better than others and suggested one with a balcony and a... More

It was the weekend before Christmas so it was worthwhile to eat early and get in before the crowds arrived. There were four of us and we shared the amazing seafood platter, priced at $60. The waitress told us that the platter was so large that no couple had been able to finish it - and she felt sure the... More

We have stayed here as a family with 2 young kids on a number of occasions. The family room is very large, clean and the beds are fine. It is a bit outdated but you need to take if for what is is. We used it as a stop off and really enjoy staying at South West Rocks. The Hotel... More

We stayed here after following recommendations from the East Coast Lonely Planet guide (useless btw, find another guide book). The hotel looks like it is from benidorm. Rooms are not cleaned very well - we found a used toothpick on the floor and carpet was unhoovered. The walls are paper thin so we could hear the crying baby next door... More
