We stayed here on our way through Nelson. It is very close to downtown area, a quick walk to shops and restaurants. The room was clean and the staff were very accommodating. We did go there in winter, but I can imagine it would be a great place in the summers.

Decided to stop at trailways again on the way home from golden bay, different room on this trip, quality and service is still the same, i would definitely recommend to any weary traveler to try. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. They are very proud of their town (Nelson) and rightly so. It was very clean and the breakfast service was decent. It lacked character though. This hotel could have been any hotel in any town in any country.

Stayed two nights at Easter, nice, clean and location is superb. They do have a pool so nice to go for a dip, a visit to the Saturday market is a must. All in all a great place to stay. They have a nice bar and restaurant overlooking the river although we did not eat there it looked good

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is very nice and spotless. The rooms were modern and spacious with all the mod cons. They looked brand new. We did not get any noise even though our room faced the car park and street. The wifi was not free but there was free parking. The restaurant looked amazing but pricey.... More
