We really enjoyed our visit there, there are a lot to visit in the area, the Viking museum, Kerteminde, Odense, the village of Flodstrup is small and quiet, all we wanted. I loved the garden full of fruits !

We enjoyed our 5-night stay and found it quiet and very comfortable in secluded surroundings. We'd had 5 days in Copenhagen and 3 days in the north of Zealand and wanted somewhere from which to explore Funen and Jutland and this was ideal. We booked the 1-bed apartment (4 adults). This was cosy for two the two of us but would be tight if the sofa bed was needed. The website information and photos are slightly misleading: the only apartment with two separate bedrooms is the one showing the bunk beds and the single beds with the pale green bedspreads. Also, ours had no radio, CD player or washing machine . . . . . we had booked this place as we wanted use of the latter . . . . . . but, we coped! We had used the booking-filter: 'Bed and breakfast' but sadly, on arrival, found that this was no longer provided. This was a disappointment after reading the reviews however, the local Rema supermarket came to the rescue as it was open until 9pm (Sunday!). This apartment is the most private and secluded with its own doors onto a patio with outside furniture. The kitchen is basic and we managed to use the grill-oven. The shower room is a comfortable size with a shower tray so no problem with the usual wet-room water plus, plenty of towels. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and good-quality bed linen. We drove to Jelling one day to the Viking Centre which was excellent and explored the coastal routes. Copenhagen is just over 100 miles away and has a good highway to the airport. Our hostess was welcoming and obviously takes pride in her apartments.

This beautiful old farmhouse is located in a tiny village in the Danish countryside. We were sad we couldn't stay longer to enjoy riding bikes along the numerous bike paths. The breakfast was sensational with everything produced on the farm- home baked bread, home grown and home made jams, freshly laid eggs etc

Staying here was a super end to our motoring holiday and we were sad that we couldn't stay for longer but we had a ferry to catch. This is a beautiful old Danish farmhouse in a very quiet, well kept area. The owners were kind people who were very friendly and helpful. The room was very well furnished and the bed very comfortable with duvets that were the lightest we'd ever used. The breakfast was comprehensive and included freshly laid eggs and homemade cheese. We are very pleased that we chose this guest house and can happily say that we can't imagine anyone finding fault with it..

This small B&B is located in the Danish country side, surrounded by fields, singing Skylarks and Winterwrens. Quiet, unrushed. The establishment itself is an old farm, with traditional thatched roofing. Before arriving to this place, I spent 2 days driving, 1 more day to go. The welcome was warm, personal, by the owners themselves. The room spatious, generously equipped and clean. The ambience is homely, the traditional furniture very fitting. I forgot the travel and stress from work within minutes after arriving. Breakfast in the morning was outstanding. All local produce, home-made bread, (smoked) cheese, marmelade and apple-juice, eggs from own chickens, enjoyed in the owners home kitchen. The home-made smoked cheese is highly recommended, by the way. From my perspective, the value for money is outstanding! I will most definitely stop here again on my return journey! N.B. Cash payment required.

Charming renovated farmhouse in the edge of a village. We booked apartment 2, which had a bedroom with twin beds, a large bathroom, a living-dining room with sofa, TV and dining table/chairs, plus a kitchenette (we only used the refrigerator). Else was very hospitable and breakfast was wonderful. Everything was spotless and very homey. Restaurants are available a few kilometers away in Kerteminde and Nyborg.

When we were planning our holiday, we were impressed with the simplicity and the genuinity of the way the place was described... and guess what?... this is exactly what we received when we got there. Elsa and Jon are incredibly kind. The rooms might need a bit of doing up, but who cares when you are in the middle of nature. The place used to be a fully-fletched farm, but now the owners have downsized it due to their age. However, there is alot of land, with open gardens, fruit trees etc. It is fantastic for kids of all ages (including us!). One can get a bike and drive around. Little children can drive around with the toy tractors. We also tried playing the Crolf game which was mentioned in the website, and we enjoyed it. Breakfast was very good, with fresh baked bread, and homemade jams and juices. The owner also offered to was our clothes and hang them for us! Back to the rooms, these come in the form of apartments. Ours had a living/dining room with a double bed, an extra bedroom with bunkbeds for the kids, a bathroom and a fully-equipped kitchen. A good spot to visit the Central part of Denmark with the Funen village and Odense.

We began our tour of Denmark with 2 nights at this charming thatched farmhouse, run by owners Else and John. We knew we had chosen a good place when we were immediately offed a jugful of John's home brewed beer. We opted to barbeque our dinner and were invited to pick whatever vegetables we needed from the garden. Breakfast was another treat with home baked bread, eggs from Else's hens, home made jam and local apple juice. The place has a lovely relaxed atmosphere with Else always happy to answer questions and make suggestions for our days out. highly recommended!

We were warmly welcomed by the owners who went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The farmhouse is so attractive with a thatched roof. Beautiful surroundings with an attractive church just along from the house. Big plus for the kids was the garden round the corner from our apartment, with plenty of space for them to play and meet the hens and rabbits. From this guesthouse we were able to do a day trip to Copenhagen and over to the tip of Sweden, as well as visit Odense, the zoo being a big hit. My only comment would be that the website didn't really give us a clear idea of the apartment facilities beforehand, and my guess is that is because the apartments each have their own character. In our apartment there was an entrance hall leading to a spacious sitting room with dining table and twin beds and we asked for an extra mattress for our youngest child. Off the sitting room was a small bedroom with bunk beds and on from there was a modern shower room with toilet, but this could only be accessed by going through this bedroom which wasn't ideal. The kitchen was also off the sitting room and was a good size and very well equipped with some nice personal touches giving the real feel of being a farmhouse kitchen. From the website we were unsure what was in the kitchen, so there was a large fridge (no freezer), electric hob and oven, no dishwasher, and breakfast table. On the whole we were very happy with the accommodation and had a really lovely time and would recommend to others.
