After reading some of the reviews here, I was somewhat dubious about staying, but our 3 day stay was great and we found none of the problems described by other travellers. From the time we arrived, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. The rooms were on the small side, but were clean... More

My son and I were in Australia for the Australian Open and the accommodations were exactly what we needed. The food prices were expensive for Americans like us and having the kitchen allowed us to pack our own food and freeze water bottles for the hot days. Plus, we were able to make our own breakfasts and dinners. There is... More

Stayed at the Bayside Quest with a girl friend and my two teenage daughters. The staff were so very helpful, nothing too much trouble, even supergluing a heel back on a shoe. Thanks guys. I will definately be back More

We stayed with our teenage resp. adult children for two nights in January in a 2-bedroom apartment and just liked it. Within a few minutes we were in the centre of St. Kilda, at the beach or at the tram station to the city. We liked it that the two bedrooms were separated by the living area. The twin beds... More

Thank you so much for your kind review. It is much appreciated. Just a note re the outlook. You obviously required a two bedroom apartment and none of our two bedroom apartments are across the front of the building, so we are unable to satisfy any requests for church/street views if you are in a two bedroom apartment. Kind regards... More

I have stayed at Quest Bayside twice now and would recommend these apartments to anyone wanting to access the nightlife in St Kilda. The location is excellent with undercover parking for an extra $10 per day. If you are going to a concert at the Palais, this can't be beaten. A short walk to the venue and to a host... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It is much appreciated. I can pretty well guarantee that next time you come back you will be pleasantly surprised. We are in the throes of organising a fairly extensive overhaul of our apartments and hope that it will be done before the middle of 2012. Kind regards Jenny More

I stayed at the Bayside for 5 nights in December with 3 friends. The location of the property is great being 5 mins walk from the main street in St Kilda and 5 mins from the 'beach' and tram stops in the other direction, The pool area is fine although it is in the car park so does not have... More

Thank you for taking the time to write such a comprehensive review. Our swimming pool isn't in the carpark - but it is on the carpark level. The pool can be accessed through the car park, or from the building if you walk to the end of the corridor - my preferred option!! For the most part, our apartments don't... More

We were happy with our stay at Quest St.Kilda Bayside. The kitchen was well equipped and it was nice to have your own washer and dryer. Staff were very helpful. If I had one complaint it would be that the rooms were not that clean. We paid for a serviced apt, however, because we were there over the Christmas period... More

Thank you for your review of Quest St Kilda Bayside. I appreciate your kind remarks. Comfortable and clean one bedroom apartment on the third floor with a great view of the Melbourne city skyline from the bedroom and balcony. Reception very friendly and helpful at check in, and with transport and local area advice. Living area smaller than some one bedroom apartment properties we have stayed in, but quite adequate for a couple. Bed was... More

Thank you so much for the time take to write a review. You managed to 'nab' one of the few apartments which have a city view. When you book your next stay, make sure you let us know that you have been with us before. Kind regards Jenny More

We had two apartments and one was smaller than the other so it is worth checking if the room is one of the larger ones. Location was excellent but there are no views and the rooms are not huge. All appliances for washing and cooling were provided so that was very helpful. More

Stayed here for 5 nights over Xmas. The location is excellent as near to beach and cafes etc. Room a good size and kitchen very well equipped. Did find decor a bit dated and in need of a lick of paint. Reception staff very friendly and helpful but found it strange no reception service on Xmas day given it is... More
