Great location and more than acceptable 2 bedroom apartment. Didn't use any if the facilities as it was a quick one night stay. For an overnight it was well set up with ample linen provided, small kitchenette and everything you'd require. It is a dated property but was clean and well maintained.

We have young children and this place was perfect for us. Everything we needed for the kids, quiet, clean and really safe. Whilst the staff etc are very pleasant and helpful the over all problem with the place is pretty grotty dirty. Only did a one night stay, but found everything dirty. Had a major ant infestation which I am still trying tho get out of my car, they made a nest in my esky bag and then car!!!!

Our stay at Barwon Valley Lodge was unplanned. Everything was awesome. We go to Geelong regularly to visit family and we have always stayed at the Barwon Valley lodge. We find that with a family of four it is much easier to stay at BVL than with family, we have plenty of room and can entertain there ourselves if we want to.
