Loved the friendly wildlife, the beach,the aboriginal history,tropical rain forrest,there is no shoping close by you need to go back to Mackay about 40km away so make sure you stock up on the esentuals..basic cabins are very clean and right on the beach.. the restaurant is a great place to relax at the end of the day.

We recently stayed 2 nights in one of the beach front cabins. What an awesome place. Wish we could have stayed longer. The management were very friendly and helpful. Great place to unwind with the family. Can't wait to come back again!

Great campsite in a lovely spot by the beach with kangaroos wallabies , toads and all manner of wildlife abounding. Good facilities and a small store on site. Although the bar was not serving because it was low season we were told we could use the area to relax in if required.
