The chalet isn't 5 star, but the rooms are acceptable they are older and a bit musty, but we weren't expecting much more. We found the staff friendly and the food on the hotel was good pub food. The location and views were great

Unfortunately the view didn't make up for the cabin accommodation. I asked for air-conditioning and got the only cabin that didn't. We were the only people staying in the cabins. Payed way too much for a mouldy cabin that hasn't been cared for like it should. The view is amazing but it was really sad that the place isn't what... More

Stayed in an upstairs room with a stunning view of the valley which was clean and tastefully decorated. We had an enjoyable dinner and a drive to Broken River to see the platypuses! The outside of the building and the pool area needs a good facelift but who cares really when you can relax and have a drink under the... More

The chalet itself is a little worse for wear from the outside but lovely on the inside. Seating is available either outdoors or indoors around a beautiful old fireplace. We stayed in a hotel style room and were lucky to have the full view over the valley (room 15B). The room was clean, nicely styled and spacious. The bathroom was... More

We stopped for Devonshire tea at Eungella Chalet and loved the views. It was a Saturday afternoon and they were setting up for a wedding. The service was ok, the coffee was ok but the scones were terrible, not fresh and not edible. At $11 each for scones and a mug of coffee we expected more. The Chalet is very... More

We just spent the weekend at the eungella chalet and had a great time. The weather was rainy all weekend but despite this we still enjoyed ourselves. Staff at the chalet are really friendly. We stayed in a cabin which was nice. The platypus were really cute and a coffe and some amazing homemade cake at the Broken River Kiosk... More

We stayd at the eungella chalet in one of the cabins and while it appeared clean, it smelled mouldy. The fistures were new but the bed was small and quite uncomfortable. The staff were friendly for the most part but the owner was a bit rude. The food quality was up and down. All in all, a lot of money... More

We were once again privileged to be able to spend a few days in Cabin 4 up at the Chalet. The first thing we noticed was how immaculate the grounds and gardens were. Other than it being very cold (which is actually the reason we come up), it was lovely to sit on the lawn out the front of Cabin... More

Unfortunately, this was the lowlight of our Queensland holiday. The obvious attraction of Eungella are the walks and nature that are spectacular. Finch-Hatten Gorge is unbelievable. It would have been nice to relax in comfortable and pleasant accomodation at the end of the days activities. We ate in a barn of a dining room, the only diners. Our motto for... More

This establishment has seen better days , the cabin we booked (6) stank of mold and needed a good clean. For $145 a night this place is not good value the furnishings are getting old and tired also a coat of paint would not hurt. The airconditioner failed at random intervals and a faint smell of the sewage system wafted... More
