“Great location”

Top spot, in the centre of town and close to the water. The staff were very friendly and helpful and The communal areas are very spacious and the amenities whew spotless.There are permanent residents, mostly aged pensioners, and the ones I met clearly enjoyed sharing the space with travellers. I hope I'm that active when I get to their age.... More

My brother and I rented the 2 bedroom annexe flat at the back of the complex, originally intending to stay only a couple of weeks, we were still there over three months later. Talk about old school, Sunset Strip oozes relaxed friendly calm vibes where you can truly chill with nobody in your face. Authentic affordable accommodation. I really enjoy mixing it up with the matured and friendly guests. Lovely pool, lots of off street parking, and management that makes sure everything is secure and peaceful. !

“Nice but effectively a retirement home”

A little old fashioned but a decent hostel for those on a low budget. Staff were friendly and helpful, the decor was dated but the rooms were large and clean.
