My family and I stayed at the hotel for one night. We really enjoyed it. The kitchen was fully equipped. There was a botanical garden opposite the hotel. I ask you to remember that there are not any petrol stations between Te Anau and Milford Sound. Do not forget to fill full tank. More

Parklands is a basic but very comfortable motel with ample facilities including a great communal kitchen with everything provided and a guest laundry. We used Parklands as our base on a visit to Doubtful Sound and found it met our needs perfectly. It is quiet and well run and has good parking and plenty of open space. More

Stayed for 3 nights while exploring Fiordland (recommend staying in Te Anau, midway between Milford and Doubtful Sounds), and enjoyed a lot the big, newly refurbished, complete and clean room (with kitchen facilities) and private bathroom. We had two spacious rooms with lounge/dining area, bedroom and bathroom in each. All nice and clean. Owners helpful and friendly too. More

tidy unit with easy walk to main town street. there were 4 adults in a family room and it was a bit cozy with the bath/kitchenette between the two small rooms. the two door access was very convenient. a fully stocked kitchen unit was just a couple doors away. we'd stay here again. More
