Clean rooms, quiet, generous breakfast (not extra), nicely decorated. Not the most central but still only a 5 min walk to Lake, two blocks from shops and restaurants. Good value for money. More

We chose to stay in Te Anau because it was close to Doubtful Sound. Last minute change of reservation at House of Wood worked out well despite staying in the one room without a private bath.
