You can't really beat the location - right on the lake and close to great food, shops and the centre of town. You are definately paying for the location with this hotel. It is quite overpriced for the very ordinary rooms that you actually get. Combined with poor service, sloppy housekeeping and the fact that you also need to pay extra for parking we were left disappointed. Great location just meters from Wakatipu , rich breakfast, comfortable rooms. Pity that parking comes as an Extra . We spent Christmas in Queenstown and the hotel was understandably crowded.
