Our stay was just great, perfect location. Kids enjoyed too. Best value for money. Breakfast had good variety. Would love to stay there again. More

For its location this hotel really is second to none but it's starting to show its age (we stayed in it 3 years ago) and needs redecoration ie the bathrooms are tired and could do with a revamp. However, the breakfast is still very good and the 20 mins free internet is handy although I really think in this day... More

You can't really beat the location - right on the lake and close to great food, shops and the centre of town. It's right next to Queenstown Gardens too, which makes for a nice easy hike near the lake. We had a superior room (it was 27 degrees so the aircon was much appreciated), looking out to the gardens and... More

Great location, only 2 minutes to Lake Wakatipu, good breakfast, comfortable and clean room, 15 dollars valet parking is excellent. There are 2 free desktop in the lobby but it was much crowed, so better to use own phone with free Internet access which was nice. We stay in the lakeside room, but we did not have much view of... Combined with poor service, sloppy housekeeping and the fact that you also need to pay extra for parking we were left disappointed. We didn't check out the restaurant or the expensive room service as there are lots... More

We stayed here for 8 nights over New Years (during peak season when Queenstown is bursting at the seams). I booked many months ahead to get as decent a price as possible.. still paying over $500 for New Years Eve. We had been traveling around the South Island staying in higher end fully equipped motels and, although the Novotel is... More

Great location just meters from Wakatipu , rich breakfast, comfortable rooms. Pity that parking comes as an Extra . We spent Christmas in Queenstown and the hotel was understandably crowded. There are two desktops with free Internet access in the lobby , which is nice . Since these statins were permanently busy , maybe the hotel should consider to augument... More
