Picked up an excellent price for our room which made it exceptionally good value. Clean, tidy, good staff. Although the Hotel is a little dated I do not think this matters, when you get the level of service, cleanliness and value. would stay again, would recommend.

Large room, comfortable bed, guest laundry. Reasonably close, by car, to the centre of the city and markets etc. Close to Hell Pizza Bar though suggest walk there as there seems to be little on street parking in the student areas of Dunedin

We spent 3 nights at the Mercure Leisure Lodge in Dunedin. The room was very comfortable with a kitchenette that included a microwave, toaster, tea,coffee facitities,etc. It also had 2 small bar fridges which we felt were a bit of a draw back. Would recommend to stay at the Mercure Leisure Lodge Dunedin.Great location on the northern end of Dunedin ,quiet wing, clean. Great decor. Beds great but a shame the room couldn't accommodate bigger beds. Would definite stay again. Handy to local supermarket and restaurants

Love the Mecure. But my wife left a lovely pair of leather [ suede ] boots in room 201 under the suitcase shelf. She would like them back. The pressure of water in shower needs attention. Martin Waller

As the eldest has been studying in Dunedin a few years now we have stayed at several hotels. This has become the firm favourite. Free on site parking and only two stories high. I'm not sure how old it is but there are not really any new hotels in Dunedin anyway! It has been refurbished well with totally new bathrooms... More

Stayed there again as it was a great price for our family. No frills, the interior of the rooms is just starting to become a bit dated but it was still comfortable and clean so no complaints there. We were going on train next day to Middlemarch, so lovely clean & peaceful place to stay, great sleep, no traffic noise. Loved the little express breakfast available in mornings. Great outlook on to lawn & gardens.

I booked this through Accor and it was the cheaper of the 2 x hotels. I was very impressed in that the room was far better than I expected and really good value for money. (also comparable to a decent motel) The only 2 x things holding it back from being perfect were that I had to carry my bags... More
