My husband and I stayed here in early April for three nights and absolutely loved this B&B for a number of reasons. The location was great with lovely views of the water from the deck, magnificent gardens and close proximity to the wonderful sights of the Otago peninsula. The accommodation was clean and cosy with plentiful breakfast provisions and a... More

We stayed 2 nights here recently and can highly recommend it to those looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. The owners are delightful and the accommodation is comfortable, with a lovely view over the water from the front terrace. The bedroom is downstairs(a steep spiral staircase, if you are not very agile), and looks onto their beautiful garden.... More

We spent 5 nights in this delightful B & B hosted by kind and considerate Alex and Cathy Semansky. We barely left the Peninsula as there was so much to do and we felt so at home. The garden, the views, the comfort and the bonus gallery of Cathy's amazing paintings was such a draw card that we were sorry... More

We went to Dunedin one night earlier than originally planned (because we wanted to get out of Invercargill quicker than planned), and fortunately Cathy and Alex were able to accommodate us one additional evening. The hosts were very friendly, knowledgeable about the Otago peninsula and Dunedin, and very helpful. And Cathy's paintings on the walls made it extra special. The... More

This just the perfect place to stay while exploring the wonders of the Otago Pennisula. Cathy and Alex are wonderful hosts with a very good knowledge of the local area. They were very helpful. Their cottage garden is a delight to explore and find all sorts of interesting plants and flowers. There is a very well equipped kitchen, also Sky... More

Wonderful hosts and fabulous view at their self contained cottage at Company Bay in the Otago Pennisula. Fabulous view and so much sightseeing to see and enjoy. We especially liked our tour with Elm Wildlife Tours, definitely worthwhile. Cathy and Alex mentioned two beaches Victory and Allans, this is quite worthwhile to see the sea lions basking in the sand... More

I arrived in Dunedin in pouring rain, went to the Tourist Information and asked them to find me somewhere to stay for one night, preferably on the Otago Peninsula. They sent me here, and I liked it so much I stayed an extra night. The accommodation is self-contained, and the breakfast is a do-it-yourself affair, but you are given a... More

Warmth, comfort and service are absolute priorities with us. We are sorry to see that the Reviewer thought that the bedroom was cold. There is a powerful Heat Pump in both the Bedroom and the Lounge which, depending on the setting selected, will heat both rooms to toasty warm. We do explain carefully how to operate the Heat Pump when... More

We were in NZ for the Rugby World Cup and stayed with Cathy & Alex at Arts Content B&B for one night and then again a week later for eight nights in September 2011. Our hosts were very helpful and made sure our stay was comfortable. A plentiful variety of different ingredients were supplied for our breakfasts, including eggs straight... More
