Brilliant friendly motel. The perfect motel after 27 hours flying from London. Very good location for the airport and next to the beautiful Hagley Park, also very close to shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Hagley Park is just across the street and is a real oasis near the centre of the city. Although Christchuch is still recovering from the quake in February, this part of the city and the hotel are working well. Great welcome and helpful advice - loved the big fluffy towels.... More

Excellent location, just on the border of Hagley Park, at the corner of Riccarton Road...which now has a lot of commerce since the center of the city is still closed. Rooms are spacious, clean and well-stocked, if a bit dated. The owners were friendly and helpful and really made us feel welcome. Would definitely stay here again. More

This was a functional and clean motel , however it was in need of an update. Faded velvet curtains, threadbare grey towels, an old TV and the thinnest toilet paper in New Zealand!
