the owner/managers were very helpful and accomodating. The location is great with lots of restos n stores nearby. Not far from train station and served by a free shuttle. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Can't say enough good about it. I'd be happy to return. More

The building appears to be 70s vintage but the room had been recently renovated and was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The service was truly excellent, lots of helpful friendly advice. After first staying at this hotel several months ago, and now traveling quite frequently to Chch, I make the effort to stay at this hotel for the tidiness, friendliness and location. In spite of a buy road adjoining the hotel, the rooms are surprisingly quiet. Well worth a stay! More
