Myself, partner and 2 friends stayed here for 3 days over NYE (before quake). Thoroughly enjoyed the autonomy of having our own facilities, as opposed to tea and coffee making! Rooms were spacious, comfortable and quite well appointed. Staff were very helpful and the location itself is pretty good. We had a jacuzzi tub in the room which it seemed... More

Family holiday booked in Dec 2010 for April 2011, but could not stay due to the earthquake. Refused refund of any sort despite knowing several weeks in advance that the accommodation would not be available. Do not deal with this company as better accommodation is available within the Christchurch area that do not have such restrictive cancellation policies.

2 Adults - 4 Nights We arrived just 4 days after the Quake of Oct 10 and you could not ask for a more accomodating welcome. Immediatley upgraded to a one bedroom apartment, and although we were the only guests checked in, the service was first class. Room was amazing, definitely worthy of 5 stars- spacious, clean, modern, comfortable, every... More

We booked 2 nights there but only manage to stay one due to the earthquake so we slept in the park. I don't know how stable the hotel is as we only got our luggage back 3 weeks ago and we had half of the celling in our bags. Staff were freindly and did wonderful things to keep us calm... More

The 1 bedroom apartment was well appointed and enabled us to cook some meals whilst enjoying other meals at nearby cafes and restaurants.Everthing we wanted was in the apartment and the location was within walking distance of transport, shops and sights or travel venues. The staff was extremely pleasant, efficient and helpful and added to our enjoyment of the facilities.Fresh fruit was... More

The person at the front desk could not have been nicer. However, I would not stay again because of the no window factor. I thought it was overpriced for the room. The website shows a window, but when you get to the room it is a fake window, no a/c so no air flow. Considering the earthquake in September we... More

Stayed a few days before the earthquake so although their website says they haven't been damaged this review is based on it's pre-earthquake condition only and it's central location (close to both the cathedral and grand chancellor hotel) means that a lot of the buildings nearby will be badly damaged. The hotel was clean and modern and the staff were... More

We only stayed for one night, but the 2 bedroom suite the 5 of us stayed in was excellent: -All beds were very comfortable, even the sofa bed for the fifth person -The rooms were very spacious -Location is right in the middle of the Christchurch CBD, easy walking distance to restaurants & bars etc -Parking is a little tight,... This is quite nice accommodation but fell short of the five stars it apparently has been awarded. First off we belatedly discovered that the rate we had been quoted was excusive of tax. Not sure whose mistake that was by the time we realised it but these days rates are usually quoted GST included. When we got there we were... More

We were recommended to the hotel by a very helpful lady in the I-sight office in Christchurch. We were very pleased with her recommendation it was superb on all accounts, our welcome was warm and friendly from the receptionist on the desk, although we were late in arriving she was waiting to greet us. I much prefer this type of... More
