We just completed a 4 week trip to New Zealand and Australia and our stay at Marlborough B & B was an outstanding highlight. Marilyn and Phillip are delightful hosts achieving a perfect balance of warmth and hospitality. The house is charming in a lovely setting. The garden suite is beautiful and spacious. The breakfasts, antipasto platter and hosted dinner... More

Awesome place, food, advice and super comfortable accommodation. Couldn't recommend it higher. Marilyn and Philip welcomed us with a couple of glasses of wine and made the most amazing breakfasts. If you don't stay here then you are crazy! More

We stayed here last year and only just got round to writing a review. It was really lovely. We stayed in the barn which was beautiful. Owners very friendly and had drinks with them ( superb wine !! ) but they respected our privacy as well. I would thoroughly recommend it. More

We stayed for 2 nights and had an amazing time The guest house is in a peaceful location with chickens in the garden and walnut trees to sit under for a pre dinner drink with our hosts and other guests. We had pre booked a wine tour with Philip and had a lovely day visiting 9 wineries and a chocolate... More

Location: We found this property to be just what we were looking for, located 15 minutes from Blenheim and 30 minutes from Picton, and on the door step to the Marlborough wine region South Island of New Zealand. We visited Blenheim, Picton, and Nelson townships, we also visited the Omaka Aviation Centre. The Highlight of the trip was the Picton... More

The Marlborough Bed & Breakfast is a delightful place to stay in the Blenheim area of the south island. We stayed in Adelaide's Barn, which is a cozy cottage that includes a bedroom, living area, kitchen, and bathroom. There is also access to an outside patio. The proprietors provide delicious home-baked breads and rolls each morning and the kitchen has... More

Beautifully situated in a rural country setting. Lovely ambience and so very gorgeous with all the creature comforts. Marilyn & Philip Cowe know exactly how to be the perfect host and hostess. I'm in the accommodation industry myself and it was an absolute treat to go somewhere and be spoilt. Breakfast provisions were delicious and generous. The bed was so... More

What more could you ask for - gracous hosts, excellent food (breakfasts to die for), comprehensive and delicious wine tour - just needed to stay two weeks instead of two days. Philip prepared a delightful gourmet supper for us after our lengthy wine tour - driving was not a favorable option - we enjoyed the gourmet presentation with a bottle... More

This was the most expensive place that my husband and I stayed at. I think one night at that price was a nice luxury, and we enjoyed our time spent with the inn keepers. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. Philip took my husband and I on a private wine tour and afterwards we enjoyed a delicious anti-pasto platter.... More
