The Glen Alton Motel is situated well away from the centre of Wellington. It is in a very busy area, but located in a quiet cul-de-sac so noise was not a problem. There is nothing wrong with the motel, but nothing particularly memorable either. As a place to spend a night it does the job.

Great communication for the actual booking on line, made it very clear on the type of room we needed, what a shock when we arrived, only interested in payment up front ( no wonder) we would have left otherwise. It was ok as far as cleanliness goes until we opened a draw to use the utensils....filthy, we ended up buying... More

an older motel but within easy distance of Wellington. paid top price but didn't get top quality. kitchen clean and useable but only one powerpoint for M/W; Kettle & toaster so always had to change plugs. door to toilet didn't close properly. comfortable and clean. unfortunately there were workers staying in the motel who parked their heavy vehicles outside but...
