I stay here regularly. Service is always helpful and friendly. It is central to the businesses I have to visit and because it is a landmark I can use it as a beacon to find my way back. I am able to park my large van in free off-street parking area. Very close to Cuba St restaurants and bars. More

Don't be put off by street appearance - once inside very nice. Mark was most welcoming. Great location - only 5 minute walk to Cuba Street, 15 mins walk to CBD and 45 mins walk to zoo. Room clean and serviced daily. Would stay here again. More

We had mixed feelings about this motor inn. The dining area and bedroom were very good. Very clean and well appointed and the view of Wellington was most impressive. However the bathroom defintely needed an update. Old fashioned shower and the noise from the plumbing made it very difficult to sleep. A full length mirror would have been very welcome.... More

Capital view is a very good location, in easy walking distance of the city centre and waterfront. At the top of Cuba st. it is a really interesting part of the city. Mark is a superb host and gives a real Kiwi welcome. The rooms are very clean and serviced daily. More
