Arrived at the hotel an hour earlier than check in (3pm) and our rooms was ready for my partner and I to check in straight away. As we drove up to the door we were immediately met by the the polite Valets, (hadn't even made it in the door), who parked the car, unloaded our luggage, and took it straight...

Stayed for a couple nights Feb 5-7, 2012. Good location across from Te Papa museum and shopping and restaurants. Grocery store less than Adblock away. Nice fitness center. Computers and WiFi available in lobby. Valet parking was convenient. Short walk to Wellington Cable Car! Overall, to Toronto

We could not have been happier staying at the Museum Hotel. The service, quality, cleanliness of the hotel and room could not be faulted. We did not use the kitchenette in our suite but it was very well equipped with washing/drying facilities, good sized fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher and all the implements to utilize these appliances. The bathroom was fabulous...

This hotel had a really nice upscale vibe to it. The staff was extremely accommodating. It’s situated conveniently close to downtown and was perfect for exploring the city. We had a regular room attached to a one-bedroom suite. We were ecstatic to see that both rooms had a washer/drier for our dirty clothes, however, only one seemed to wash the...

I like to stay at B&Bs when I travel but none of the options in Wellington appealed to me. I lucked out! Museum Hotel was beautiful, well located, the service was great, and the art work in the lobby was spectacular. We got upgraded to an apartment w a jacuzzi tub, so that was great. Loved every minute there.

The hotel was of a high standard but we arrived on a holiday and most restaurants in the city were closed. The hotel restaurant could not accomodate us. Quite disappointing.

Friendly informative reception and concierge staff made for a quick and stress free check-in.
The “public” areas of this hotel contain some really interesting artwork, as does the rooms.
The rooms are clean, functional...

We stayed at the Museum Hotel for just an business overnighter. We booked late and could only get into the old wing meaning the rooms hadn't been fully refurbished but were very good value considering the facilities, overall condition and location of the hotel. So reviewing each of those:
Hotel has been done to feel like an art gallery with...

This chic looking hotel adorned with giant gold hippos is a great place to stay, rooms are spacious and comfortable, and aren't full of overly decorative crap, but isn't lacking anything a reasonable traveler would want. Example the hotel offer 4 types of pillow choices. Try to get a harbor facing room, so that you can enjoy the view. Staff...
