The location of these apartments are great but that is about the only positive thing I can say about Brandon Village Apartments.
The foyer is dingy and run down, the lift is tiny and stinks and there is no reception. My phone broke and I was staying by myself with 2 small children which meant I had to take them...

Quite surprised by the feedback from the March 2008 Brandon Review. We recently stayed at the apartments and were pleasantly surprised by the great location, prompt and polite service. We found the apartments clean and tidy, well maintained and will happily stay there again and would recommend Brandon Village to other friends and family.

We stayed at one of the Brandon Street 2 bedroom apartments over new year. While the furniture shown in the website is in the apartments, the rooms are cramped and all the windows of our apartment faced brick walls. The place was therefore very dark and also had a damp smell. I wouldn't stay there again.

I had read about these apartments in one of the New Zealand forums and decided to book it.
We did all the booking on the phone and when the person I spoke to realised that we were a family travelling with three children he moved us to a bigger, more suitable apartment for no extra cost.
