My husband and I stayed with our two children for 2 nights recently and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. The rooms were spacious, clean and warm and within short walking distance to the main city centre. My only issue was the swimming and spa pool which needs a good clean.

Stayed two nights in the wheelchair accessible room. Lovely location. Excellent and friendly staff -- couldn't fault them. The room was comfortable but needs a few changes. Good view of Lake Taupo from our second floor room. The room was right over the outdoor bar but it was quiet after 8pm. Could have been noisy on a busy summer day. Good wifi and no real complaints. A little 10 minute walk from the center of town, but that's OK because we don't like to stay in town.

Everything about the Suncourt Hotel was perfect for my stay. The location was ideal, with a short walk to the shops, cafe's and the lake. Stay regularly for work. Rooms are modern and comfortable. The shower is older and has water pressure that stings. Great location and views - great value for location - complex not new but refurbished well. Our 2nd stay this month :) Restaurant very good for Breakfast however have not dined there. Reception very helpful and professional.
